Just yesterday, the Chinese manufacturer of handset Xiaomi has launched the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 with the price tag of Rs. 16,999 with a huge 5300mAh battery. And now the brand is gearing up for adding another device to its Smartphone range in the form a new handset known as the ‘Xiaomi Mi 5X’. According to the company the phone will be unveiling on 26th July at an event which is going to be held in its home market of China. The Smartphone has been the subject of numerous leaks before, revealing some of its specs, and now Xiaomi has posted a teaser on its official Weibo account containing an image of actor Kris Wu, which yet reveals the design and colour options as well. The latest leaked image also confirms that the device is going to boast a dual camera setup at the rear bundled with a dual LED flash light. And from the safety point of view, it is also likely to house a finger print sensor at the back. The phone gets the antenna bands located on the top and bottom edges at the rear. As for colour options the Mi 5X will be made available in three variant such as the Black, Gold and Rose Gold. At its heart, the device is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 625 processor and for memory it will get 4 GB of RAM.
Briefing other specs, the upcoming Mi 5X is expected to feature a 5.5 inch full HD display with the screen resolution of 1080×1920 pixels and it will sport a full metal unibody design. On the software front, the phone is rumoured to be run on Android 7.0 Nougat wrapped under MIUI 9 operating system out of the box.
