After showcasing the Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra at Mobile World Congress in February, the Japanese multinational company Sony has finally announced the device in India, which comes as the successor to the Sony Xperia XA Ultra. The highlighted feature of the device is the camera department for a unique photography experience.

Talking about the specs, front of the device is occupied by a massive 6 inch full HD with the resolution of 1080×1920 pixels and comes protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. The device features a full metal unibody device and comes with edge to edge display. At its heart, the device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P20 processor coupled with Mali T880 MP2 900MHz GPU for graphics processing. In terms of memory, it gets the storage capacity of 4 GB of RAM along with 64 GB of onboard memory, which can be further expandable up to 256 GB with the insertion of a microSD card slot. Software wise, the XA1 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system out of the box, and comes fuelled by 2700mAh battery bundled with Stamina Mode and Qnovo Adaptive Charging 3.0 that is claimed to charge the phone up to 60 percent within 45 minutes. Coming to the camera department,  the device sports a 23 MP primary camera at the rear with Exmor RS image sensor, hybrid autofocus, 24mm wide-angle lens, f/2.0 aperture, 5x zoom, and HDR mode, while on the front it touts a 16 MP Exmor RS sensor with front flash, 23mm wide-angle lens, f/2.0 aperture, OIS, and autofocus. The Front camera also comes with Optical Image Stabilization for clicking selfies even in low light conditions. Connectivity options on the device include 4G, Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi, NFC, GPS + GLONASS, Google Cast and USB Type-C port.

The device comes in Black, White and Gold colour options and has been priced at Rs. 29,990, it will be available via major online and offline retail stores across the country. Interestingly, users will get free subscription for three months to Sony LIV and Quick Charger UCH12 worth Rs. 1,490 bundled in the box.
