Soon after the launch of the Intex Aqua Selfie Smartphone, the home grown Smartphone Company Intex yesterday announced the launch of a new device under the Aqua series, which can be said as the successor to the Aqua Lions 3G and has been dubbed as the ‘Intex Aqua Lions 3’.

Commenting at the launch, Ishita Bansal, prodct head,  Mobiles, Intex Technologies stated that with Aqua Lions 3 smartphone, they are not only providing the best specs, but also with SwiftKey keyboard integration enabling Intex’s diverse consumers from different parts of the country the freedom and joy to express themselves in their mother tongue. Intex has always designed products keeping in mind consumers’ needs & demands and Aqua Lions 3 model will surely be a delight.

Briefing the specs, it features a 5 inch 2.5D curved glass HD IPS OnCell display protected byDragonTrail glass. Under the hood, the device comes protected by Quad-core MediaTek MT6737 SoC clubbed with Mali T720 MP2 GPU for graphics, and software wise it runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system out of the box. For imaging, the handset touts an 8 MP front and rear camera both bundled with an LED flash. In terms of memory, the Smartphone offers 2 GB DDR3 RAM along with 16 GB of onboard memory that can be increased up to 128 GB via using a microSD card. The Aqua Lions 3 sip’s juice from a 4000mAh battery and features SwiftKey app that support typing in 22 Indian languages that gives users an enhanced typing experience. Connectivity options on the device includes 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio and comes pre-loaded with QR Code, Xender app, Gaana  and Prime Video applications.

From the pricing and availability point of view, the Intex Aqua Lion 3 has been priced at Rs. 6,499 and available in Champagne and Black via offline retail stores.
